I have heard that some people don’t know what the USSR is!! Modern culture is trying to shove the past away! Do you think that this is a discrase of our EDU system, or is it bad parenting (ignore everything, stuck-up mom kinda thing, only play with the iPod.) And all kids in my kid’s school say there going to become a professional sports player, and only 20 people get into professional baseball a year!! Is this right?! Or are our kids so stuck-up, that when we run out of oil, there going to throw a fit at the gas pump?! people, please, tell me how you raise your kids, and what you think our society is coming too. We will change people. We might not like it, or it may come forcefully, but we will change, and all I really want to know is YOUR OPINION ON MODERN CULTURE AND OUR KIDS GROWING UP IN IT.
Oh, yes, and has anybody noticed that sombody has gotten so lazy that they let the clock for when you submit a question or awnser that is says 5:03 PM. That is just a lazy piece of crap.

my son will enter college next year. He has recieved appx 10,000 in scholarship money. That leaves his mom and I with a balance of about 26,000 to come up with a year. His mom and I are separated pending diverce and the financial aid pkg is based on her income. She is a lawyer who makes too much to qualify for little if any financial aid. My son is a terrific wrestler who will wrestle for his school next year, however it is a div 3 school so sports money is not available. Could someone tell me if it is unusual to talk to the finanial aid people or the wrestling coach after the aid decision has been made? Do I have any other avenues to explore to get more money for my son? To come up with 26,000 a year is a stretch for his mom and I. Please advise

Dad will want to golf, and Mom will just enjoy the beach, scenery. Maybe they would like things like a scenic chopper ride, volcanoes, or Pearl Harbor.
